I started doing real estate over two decades ago after attending a seminar. 

I got into rehabbing and flipping houses with my brother. Quick, big money was the game, but it was fleeting, always rolling into the next deal. It was thrilling but exhausting.

In the early 2000’s I got stuck with some property because of some changes in HUD financing and was forced to rent them.

I remembered buying houses from some landlords  who owned many rental properties and these guys didn’t really work AT ALL. They seemed to have tons of time.

Now, that part seemed pretty cool because my brother and I worked really hard at our rehab business. 

I realized I wasn’t an investor because I was still trading hours for dollars.

I needed to simplify things. A lot.
