Who Is Ron Phillips?

Ron Phillips is a leader among leaders… a trainer, coach, and mentor in the real estate investment world. He has an unstoppable passion for helping busy professionals & hard-working folks get out of debt, increase their income and net worth, and play the real estate investment game and WIN.

He’s the real deal in a world of hacks and guru wannabe’s… the master entrepreneur with no room for fluff or empty theories. And he’s a true guide… a man of compassion and wisdom in a sea of predatory sharks and shady “deal makers.”

Ron is the Founder and CEO of RP Capital ‒ a Real Estate Brokerage specializing in residential income-producing properties. More than a brokerage, RP Capital is Ron’s platform for educating, training, and empowering emerging and seasoned investors. Ranked in the top 25% on the INC 5000 list of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies in 2015, the firm offers a proprietary software suite so its clients can create their own Real Estate Wealth Plan™ using live inventory and produce a proforma for those properties, then his team walks them through the process of becoming an investor.  70% of these clients continue to do business with RP Capital.

Ron created the RPC Exchange, where he has the opportunity to help build more successful real estate entrepreneurs utilizing the infrastructure of RP Capital.  Ron is able to share his systems, sources, partners and proprietary software with those he chooses to support, saving them years of mistakes as new business owners.  Ron works directly with these business owners as their mentor and coach.

How Does He Do It?

Through his passion for teaching, desire to exemplify excellence and moral integrity, and 18 years of experience as a real estate investor:

He has bought and sold thousands of properties.  Bought hundreds at auction, Wholesaled, Rehabbed, bought houses subject to the existing mortgages, leased, owner financed, raised millions of dollars and helped thousands become wealthier.

He started a property management company, grew it to 500 single-family units under management… and sold it for a profit in 2007.

He is also the Founder of RP Capital Management, a company that owns over $28 million in multifamily property.  He has managed 6 profitable real estate funds, worth $50 million in value.

Through his companies, he’s sold over half a Billion dollars worth of real estate… and has helped his clients buy over 6,000 investment properties and helped facilitate their management.

His expertise is based completely in hard-won experience…In reality.

Why Does He Do It?

Ron’s purpose in business is “Through Service, We Build People” and he lives it daily.  Whether in his companies with his team members, his clients, and their financial future or through charitable organizations serving the less fortunate, he is a servant first concerned with building up others.

In business, he saw a need to bridge the gap between “real estate education” ‒ and helping folks actually DO what all this training was about.  He was sick and tired of watching good people drown in a sea of debt and misinformation ‒ when he knew there was a better way.

In his community,  when he recognized a need; When women in his community were desperate for a hand up and no organization existed to provide it, it had to be done! In 2016, Ron and the President of RP Capital, Angela Thomas, started and funded a non-profit, Dress for Success Salt Lake City to empower underprivileged women to reach their highest potential.  To date, their efforts have served over 1200 women in the Salt Lake City Area.

He is committed to the same things for himself that he wants for his clients ‒ the freedom to be the best spouse, parent, friend, and citizen they can be. The ability to live their vision of their best life, NOW, and impact generations to come. As a father of three amazing kids and married to his best friend and biggest cheerleader… Ron knows what work-life balance is all about.  He believes that vision for life comes before business, and he lives his vision to its fullest.
